OUR PHILOSOPHY

Before School, After School & School Holiday Care for 5 – 11 year olds

Working parents often have the added pressure of wondering what to do with their kids before or after school, or during the holidays.

We offer After School and School Holiday Care for school-aged children in a small, homely environment.  We also offer Before School Care (For our Te Mata School families only)

Te Mata Primary Students

Before School Care – At 8.15am we walk the students to the Te Mata School Hall.

After School Care – We meet the students outside the school hall and walk with them to our house on Te Mata Road.

Havelock North Primary Students

After School Care – We collect the students in our van.

Lucknow Primary Students

After School Care – We collect the students in our van.

Havelock North Intermediate and Hereworth Students

After School Care – Students need to make their own way to us. Care will start from when they arrive at Village Kids.

General

We offer School Holiday Care from 7.30am to 6.00pm, during 2 weeks of each school holidays, and 3 weeks of the January holidays.

For more information or to have your child’s name placed on our waiting list, please contact us. Parents are welcome to drop in during our opening hours to look around.

it is hard to express the extreme gratitude and appreciation that Mike and I have for everything that you have done for both our daughter and our son over the years. Village Kids Havelock North Preschool Centre is an exceptional team of people who have an everlasting effect on so many children (and famlies). We could not have dreamed of a better place for our children to begin their education. A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I am super, super stoked with how easy the whole process has been dealing with Village Kids Home Based. Annie has been so accommodating and lovely towards us! I even cried the first time I spoke to her because I was so overwhelmed with choices of childcare providers and she quickly made me feel as though we had made the right decision. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Annie, I can call her anytime and she is so quick to answer any of my questions, help with WINZ applications, come to my house or work to do paperwork! She is nothing short of a superstar!

Both my boys attended Village Kids Havelock North Preschool Centre and loved it, both leaving for school fully prepared and ready. I like how the teachers take time every day to tell me what my child has been up to, and I like their use of Facebook so I can see what they have been doing too. The boys have been happy and well cared for, and created some strong friendships, as well as learning an array of skills. Thanks team!

Would highly recommend Village Kids Napier, my daughters in home carer finished late last year so I decided to leave finding a new day care until the beginning of the year. I’m glad I found Village Kids Napier, the staff have been so helpful and great at communicating how my daughter is going. There’s never ending activities and wholesome meals. Thanks for everything:)
