Amanda Meldon

Havelock North Centre's Manager

Bachelor of  Teaching ECE 0-8 years 

Amanda is our Havelock North Centre's Manager. This role allows her to use her leadership skills and share her knowledge and passion, with supportive teachers, seeing young children grow and develop through their play, within environments that nurture their interests. 

    Lorraine Plant

    Head Teacher - Pukeko Room

    Degree in History, Post Graduate Diploma in Primary and ECE

    Lorraine believes children learn best through play.  This allows children to explore and create at their own pace alongside their peers. Lorraine really enjoys cooking with the children, incorporating many numeracy and literacy skills and encouraging the children to taste new flavours.

     

      Trish Penrice

      Head Teacher - Tui Room

      Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education

      Trish has been involved with Early Childhood Education since 1983. She enjoys watching the children as they grow and develop every day. Trish is passionate about creating an environment that supports and extends children’s skills and interests through relationships with their teachers and each other.

        Marilyn is one of the Directors of Village kids Childcare Centre Ltd. Village Kids opened its doors in June 1992 and since then Marilyn has worked in partnership with parents to ensure that Village Kids continues to offer a service that meets the needs of it families.

          Annie has had many years experience within the childcare sector. Annie is extremely passionate about placing children in the homes of loving and nurturing Educarers or in our Early Learning Centres, the choice is yours.

            OUR FEES

            • From $5.00 per hour
            • Maximum $250.00 for the week
            • Nappies provided free of charge
            • Lunches provided free of charge (except Fridays which is our lunchbox day and is provided by home)
            • FREE 20 ECE hours for 3 & 4 years olds (up to 6 hours per day and 20 hours per week) – no additional charges
            • WINZ subsidies for eligible families.
