Village Kids provides quality care and education for children under five years old.
We have three licensed centres, 2 in Havelock North and 1 in Napier, and one licensed Home Based care service. We are also licensed for OSCAR (Out of School Care) in Havelock North.· Havelock North Baby Centre on Te Mata Road in Havelock North which caters for Infants (birth to 2 years). · Havelock North Over 2 Centre on Napier Road in Havelock North which caters for toddlers (2-3 years) and preschoolers (3-5 years).
· In Home Childcare - Our Home Based Service offers in-home care for children who wish to be cared for in a home environment. If you wish to enrol your child with one of our Educarers or you would like to become an Educarer in your own home please phone 877.5268 ext 2 or email homebasedcare@villagekids.co.nz for further information.
· Out of School Care (OSCAR) - For children aged 5 - 11 years old, we provide after school care and School Holiday care (for all school holidays). Please contact Fleur on 877.5268 ext 2 for further information or email homebasedcare@villagekids.co.nz.

The Inner Beauty of our Pātamariki
Each tiny Child has an inner beauty, as does the tiny Paua. It is our charge as teachers to help our Pātamariki, to build their own layers of ‘life learning’, as Tangoroa charged his tiny Paua to do with his own shell of life.Each of our Pātamariki is uniquely individual and their own life learning is as diverse as the colours of the tiny Paua, each is so beautiful and unique it is a wonder to see their colours of life being revealed.It is our privilege, as teachers, to be part of our Pātamariki’s ‘Colourful Life Learning’ adventure.This, the tiny Paua will show us all, that life is colourful and full of surprises.Click on our Paua Shell throughout this website to read further about it.
